Rehabilitation

Pain and discomfort in the body can cause a lot of stress in someone's life. The majority of the pain can come from the body simply not knowing how to use muscles in a correctly. If every muscle in the body functioned as they should, then most people's pain could vanish.
For the body
to move without pain or discomfort every muscle should maximise it's range of
motion, with stored energy, to propel the body to move.
When muscles lengthen, they send signals to the brain to tell it where it is
in time and space. Therefore if the muscle doesn't lengthen properly the
brain can't work out where it is and motion at the limb (that particular
muscles cross) will be inhibited. This is when other muscles have to work
harder for the missing motion and pain starts to creep in.
We simply use a number of person specific methods and assessments to view how the body moves, determining which muscles could be causing the discomfort. Through strategic planning and design, exercises are then given to the client to re-establish the link between muscles and restore the full function of the body.
Imagine every muscle in the body is an elastic band, and when you move e.g. walking, every elastic band will lengthen then shorten
